Corruption Risk and the Changing Legal Climate in Latin America

Although Latin American countries offer a tremendous wealth of business opportunities, the region is a potential minefield of corruption risks, perilous to navigate.  A recent webinar hosted by Strafford Publications discussed the dynamic enforcement climate, risks endemic to the region, an overview of recent and pending changes in local anti-corruption laws (including the newly-enacted law in Brazil) and provided advice on how to optimize compliance programs for the region.  The program featured Jay Holtmeier, a partner at WilmerHale; Matteson Ellis, Special Counsel at Miller & Chevalier; and Matthew J.
